About Me

Lenore Dunmore

Diploma Counselling, Registered Member and Accredited Counsellor MBACP, Diploma in Clinical Supervison

Hello my name is Lenore. I am an Integrative Counsellor which means that I am able to use different models to suit the individual as I do not believe that one model is suited to everyone, as each one is a unique individual. I have been qualified since 1999 and have worked in education, disability, addiction and mental health and with people of different ages and cultural background. I have a wealth of life experiences and I am able to empathise on an experential level. I believe it is important to "Take Time Out To Listen To Yourself" To question, to reflect and hear those things that we may not be able to admit to ourselves or we may not want to hear so they get lost in the rush of everyday life.

Besides my practice I work as an Affiliate Counsellor for several EAP (Employee Assistant Programme) I work on a one to one basis with adults and older people. I offer a confidential service and I aim to work with you in a sensitive way that will enable you to make sense of things, gain a different perspectives and develop a deeper awareness of self and understanding of your problems. I am sensitive to the cultural and ethical background of individuals, to people's religious beliefs and respect these as an important part of who they are
